Add your own wine images
I know a lot of people buy wine by price and what the label looks like - I do. As of this week when entering a new wine on Bottletalk you can now add an image of the bottle or label yourself. Some of our users - thanks in particular to winescribbler, mogoot and toronaga to name but a few - have already uploaded some great photos of the wines they have tasted. For your wine image to appear on the wine page the dimensions of the image should be at least 150 pixels in height or width. You can also add images to wines you have already entered by going to the wine page and clicking the ‘Edit Wine details’ link. As a guide, try and use images that show the label as clearly as possible. Enjoy!

Have you seen the WineLibrary label app? It would only make sense that you guys collaborate on this and amass an Amazon-style collection of wine labels, as they’ve done with CD covers!

Already one step ahead of you Chris. We are working with Gary and Erik of WineLibrary to load 10,000 labels to Bottletalk. This is a work in progress but you can see an example here …

Clicking on the link takes you to the label at WineLibrary.
A good example of collaboration between us (Bottletalk) adding the wine, WineLibrary supplying the label and our community in posting the wine experience and comments.
Cheers
