As recommended by Jane MacQuitty of The Times, here is an extensive list of summer wines to enjoy all for under £20, or you can try the less than £5 list, under £8 list or under £12 list. So much choice!
I love these lists for giving you a goal to achieve over the summer months … so better get started … somewhere in the middle I think with 2006 Divinus de Château Bonnet, Sauvignon Blanc, Bordeaux, André Lurton, France, Sainsbury’s, £9.99.

The health benefits of the odd glass of red wine are well known but The Telegraph has an extensive article on the benefits of ‘wine therapy’ and the best spas to visit for the likes of Merlot wraps, Cabernet scrubs and other vinotherapy pleasures.
Now that certainly would be a different kind of wine experience to write about on Bottletalk.

There are some good quotes in the article from wine industry insiders confirming that what have long been speculated to be dubious “offers” are exactly that and give no real value to the wine drinker at all.
